حق پناهندگی رویایی رو به زوال !!! – به مناسبت فرارسیدن روز بیستم ژوئن روز جهانی پناهندگان به دنبال جدیدترین امار پناهندگان در جهان بودم که به اخرین امار در تاریخ ۱۹ ژوئن ۲۰۱۹ رسیدم . کمیساریای عالی پناهندگان سازمان ملل اعلام کرده بود که  شمار کسانی که به واسطه جنگ، درگیری و ترس از پیگرد در کشورهای مختلف جهان آواره شده‌اند، از مرز ۷۰ میلیون نفر گذشته است و  این بالاترین آماری بود که این نهاد در تمام هفت دهه فعالیت خود ارائه میداد . شمار کسانی که به طور اجباری ناچار به ترک محل زندگی‌شان و آواره شده‌اند، تقریبا به ۷۰ میلیون و ۸۰۰ هزار نفر می‌رسد. این یعنی – دو میلیون آواره بیشتر از سال قبل شده است. با دیدن این امار و ارقام و شنیدن اخبار و حوادث فاجعه بار پناهجویان در گوشه و کنار دنیا – به واژه های در غربت مانده  احساس مسئولیت و احترام به کرامت و منزلت والای انسانیت که خیلی وقته  در دنیای ما گم شدند   و فقط به شعارها ی که تنها بوی گنداب منافع شخصی و سیاسی میدادند فکر میکردم  . شمار آوارگانی که سازمان ملل گزارش کرده دو برابر آمار ۲۰ سال پیش بود  مطاب...

20th  June 2020  - World Refugee Day The United Nations General Assembly marked June 20th as a World Refugee Day on the 50th anniversary of the 1951 Refugee Convention, held on December 4th 2000. Every year since then many countries across the globe celebrate this day in solidarity with refugees. The rapid escalation of violence, war, suppression and economic hardship and poverty across the world have pushed more and more people into seeking asylum and into migration. They are looking for safety and security and a better world to live in. According to the United Nations every minute twenty people leave everything behind to escape war, persecution or terror. According to the UNHCR there are more than 70 million forcibly displaced people worldwide. Almost 26 million of these people are refugees and 3.5 million are seeking asylum.   The Solidarity Council of Iranian Asylum Seekers in Turkey is deeply concerned about the lack of health services available to asylum seekers in Turkey. This matter has put some many people of the risk of not being able to access and afford to pay for healthcare which has tragically led to the death of asylum seekers in recent months.  For instance, on the 1st of March this year an asylum seeker called Masoud who resides in Yalova, and on 17th of May another asylum seeker called Mohammad Torabi, both of whom had been waiting for resettlement by the UNHCR in Turkey for 6 years, were denied access to health care and the medication they desperately needed. Statute of the Iranian Refugee Solidarity Council in Turkey ………………….. We, as a group of vulnerable asylum seekers who have been forced to set on this compulsive route for some time. In order to ease the suffering and hardship of this serious and vague path to some extent, we decided to find a way out of this crisis by sharing efforts with other people who are in the same situation as us. We particularly believe that with establishing solidarity and collaboration amongst asylum seekers, if not all, at least in part, we can overcome these problems. May our actions compensate for the last few years of the vacuum of a platform and lead to the foundation of a permanent council. Announcement on the: Establishing of the Solidarity Council of Iranian Asylum Seekers and Refugees in Turkey The establishing board of the Solidarity Council with the cooperation of several refugees, began its activity about three months ago. The purpose of founding this council is to determine and pursue the issues faced by the Iranian asylum seekers in Turkey.
